Each dish is hand-built and finished in a gentle robin egg blue glaze, with a small pressed flower resting at the center. The shapes vary slightly, the edges move a bit, and the glaze settles in its own way—nothing perfectly matched, just naturally cohesive.

Each square is painted by hand—layered twice so the color settles in just right—which means nothing about the pattern is perfectly even (and I like it better that way). It feels structured at first glance, but the brushstrokes keep it soft and a little alive.
The edges have a gentle wave to them, which breaks up the grid and keeps it from feeling too rigid. And in the center, there’s a small built-in vessel—just enough space for a few dried stems or something you found on a walk.
No two of these will ever match exactly. The spacing shifts, the color deepens differently, the lines wander a bit. That’s kind of the whole point.

How I work
By Hand
Each piece begins slowly. I work directly with the clay, allowing pressure, resistance, and movement to shape the form. Nothing is rushed. The organic nature that remains is part of the process, not something to smooth away.
In Small Batches
Work is made in small runs so attention can stay with each piece. This allows for variation, quiet shifts, and the kind of care that only comes from losing track of time.
